Sookie Stackhouse, the telepathic cocktail waitress from Bon Temps, Louisiana in Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Series.

Sookie's telepathic abilities manifested when she was quite young. In her hometown of Bon Temps, many people believe Sookie to be mentally unstable, while others deny the fact that she is able to read people's minds. She supports the household by working as a barmaid at a local bar, Merlotte's, which is owned by local shifter Sam Merlotte. As well as occasionally utilizing her telepathic talents for the local group of vampires, headed by Eric Northman.

Is anyone else that's read these books tired of waiting for Tru Blood to premiere? :P

I was okay with the first season for the most part. The second season made me go "...whut?", but the third season makes me think that aliens abducted the writers and feed them God knows what to come up with that monstrosity. XD

Very nice. I love how light and fluffy her hair looks and your barely-there but effective style of shading. I'm on book seven right now and I haven't seen the TV series so maybe I better check that out. If it's even half as good as the books I will love it. The only thing wrong with this picture is the arm holding the tray, which is a bit this in the forearm, also is you extend the lines of the upper arm it appears to be coming out of her side instead of her shoulder. I really like this picture though!

Thanks! :)

Some stuff has definitely been changed around from the books, but it's good. Anna Paquin though is bout to drive me nuts with her accent, but that could just be me...

Ah, I didn't even think about that! :o Hm.. It does, doesn't it? A low level shoulder? XD Nah, what happened was I was just messing around with it. Didn't pay much attention to the anatomy or accuracy of the author's description. ^^; I'm glad you noticed that, cause I've been looking at her for months and it never hit me.
